Driving in Leopard

Finally found a pair of leopard driving shoes I’m in love with, just had to look in the men’s section to find them. I was worried about the fit since some reviews claimed they fit true to size and others advised sizing down. Since my size wasn’t available anyway, I just sized down. But they fit perfectly and I’m having a hard time taking them off. Haven’t been this excited about shoes that weren’t heels in a long time. Crossing items off The List feels good!

Back to Basics: The List

My, my, my has this site seen its share of transitions. I won’t say this is it because I may have said that before. We’ll just try this on and see how it fits.

Speaking of fits, I’ve been more than a little unhappy with my current wardrobe. I guess you can say I find myself in some sort of transition. I used to be able to pull things together without too much thought. Lately, my closet is so cluttered that I find myself re-using the same things over and over again. Not that its a bad thing, but I decided that if I was gonna re-use some pieces they might as well be basics that I’m in love with. I find myself wanting a more mature wardrobe as well. So armed with Nina Garcia’s The One Hundred and an extensive catalog of sartorial shots of my favorites (Miroslava Duma, Emanuelle Alt and Giovanna Battaglia) I’ve been trying to put together a list of basics.
